Content Management Supervisor

Oversees the Content Management initiatives at the LaSalle facility and supervises a team of 10 to 15 team members.  Is able to balance efficiency, quality and effectiveness for all directives while providing support for all members involved on this team.  Works with the management team to ensure consistency and process improvement and is able to problem solve independently.

Essential Functions:

  • Direct supervision of 10 to 15 specialists who are responsible for adding and maintaining product and vendor data in JC Whitney systems.

  • Responsible for working with Merchandising department and external vendors to keep data current.

  • Document and maintain processes.

  • Regularly identify and implement process improvement opportunities.

  • Train existing and new team members on using relevant tools (Excel, Access and custom applications).

  • Acts in a supervisory capacity in all areas of team member's management; performance reviews, maintain attendance records and ADP payroll records, coaching/mentoring and motivational functions, administers disciplinary actions when required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years supervisory experience.

  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving capabilities.

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.

  • Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel and Access.

  • Keen attention to detail.
