Electrical Engineer

Description

Provide I&E support.

• Provide technical support for project and process engineering.
• Direction of Contracted Engineer and Electrical Distribution and Electrical Instrumentation Design.
• Review/Development of electrical equipment specifications.
• Lead implementation of I&E reliability efforts in design and electrical safety audit items.
• Provide assistance in commissioning of all electrical equipment.
• Provide troubleshooting for I&E Technicians and supervision at R&D facility.
• Develop electrical safety standards and electrical work/switching procedures.
• Establish best practices and drive toward continuous improvement in higher technology.
• Champion preventative maintenance of plant electrical equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

 Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Chemical and Mechanical engineering knowledge and capabilities.
• Six sigma certification preferred.
