Maintenance
Mechanic
This individual must be able to set-up, adjust,
and maintain assigned equipment with responsibility for production and
quality on this equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on
production equipment and takes corrective action. Makes
necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum
production and quality.
- Examines, tests, and measures product from assigned
equipment for quality specifications, using gauges and instruments,
and records data on appropriate forms
- Makes preventive maintenance check and inspection
of assigned equipment, reports findings to supervisor and takes
appropriate action
- Examines defects and analyzes spoilage causes and,
where possible, takes corrective action. Analyzes and records
cause of production delays on daily production report.
Qualifications:
- Ambitious and self motivated worker
- Able to prioritize work schedule to execute in
order of importance
- Must be able to cut and weld (stick, mig, torch,
plasma, etc.)
- Electrical experience is preferred
- Ability to use hand tools and trades type tool
- Willingness to work rotating shifts if necessary or
stay over shift if needed
