Technical Inside Sales Representative

  • Minimum two year degree with at least 2 successful years selling electronic or computer related products over the phone.
  • Experience with serial, USB, Modbus, Ethernet networking and/or data acquisition is a plus.
  • Will prospect by phone for sales opportunities with existing and new customers.
  • Qualify marketing leads to identify and focus on the best opportunities.
  • Recommend products that will satisfy the customer's need.
  • Provide pricing and quotations including delivery time and sales terms.
  • Make persuasive sales presentations and follow up on quotations in order to secure orders.
  • Submit activity/call reports as required.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs; solicit customer feedback to improve service; respond to requests for service and assistance; meet commitments.
  • Maintain key sales performance indicators and reporting that will insure top sales performance.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal skills.
