• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, finance or related area and experience in purchasing, materials or distribution area.
• Ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, negotiating skills, interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Must have computer skills ith data entry experience.  Should be proficient in Excel, Word and Internet Explorer.  Axapta experience preferred but not required.
• Strong math skills are required for this position.
• Will be responsible for negotiating and acquiring materials, supplies and services including placing purchase orders.
• Coordinates purchasing activities with other departments to meet service level requirements and maintain inventory at planned levels.
• Reviews opportunities for new supply sources and suitability of materials offered.
• Lead and participate in inventory and supply chain improvements projects as assigned.
