Specialty Operational Technician

Basic Function:

Controls the quality of the production of Titanium Powder through routine and special laboratory testing to ensure conformance with company standards.  Interprets formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.  Proficiently and accurately sample and conduct visual inspection and laboratory testing of materials according to the appropriate standard test methods to insure quality control of products at the point of production and shipping.  Records test data, and evaluate data applying statistical quality control procedures.  Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards. Prepares graphs or charts of data or enter data into computer for analysis.

 Requirements

High School Diploma, AA Degree preferred

Working knowledge of laboratory analysis and instrumentation.

Working knowledge of computer software.
