Maintenance Technician III - Electrical and Instrument

Basic Function:

Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.  Perform routine and preventive maintenance according to established schedules.  Maintain equipment to manufacturer's specifications and/or company specifications.  Operates with hand tools, measuring tools, and standard maintenance shop equipment such as drill presses, grinders, saws and welders.  Diagnoses electrical and control system issues and repairs/replaces defective components.

 Requirements

High School Diploma, AA Degree preferred.

Must have working knowledge of machines, measuring devices, maintenance hand and power tools.

Must have a working knowledge of arithmetic, algebra and geometry.

Must have good communication and organizational skills.

Must have in depth knowledge of electrical systems, electrical power and process control instruments.

Must be able to diagnose and repair electrical and instrumentation system issues and malfunctions.
