Field Technician

Basic Function:

Monitors operating and utility equipment, under the direction of a Control Room Operator and reports and documents observations, exceptions and process equipment issues.  Coordinates routine and emergency maintenance with the Control Room Operator.  Performs basic routine maintenance and assists with maintenance projects.  Receives raw materials and prepares raw materials for use in the process. Cross trains in operation of all plant operating positions and provides relief for other operating units as necessary and/or directed.

 Requirements

High School Diploma required, AA Degree preferred.

Rudimentary Chemical Knowledge needed.

3 to 5 years of experience in a chemical plant preferred.

Basic understanding of chemical safety requirements.
